This year’s annual energy summit has gone virtual! Adopting this new format may be a temporary measure but it has given us an opportunity to engage with an even larger subset of Brady customers. We have been delighted at the level of engagement seen so far.
Here are the highlights from day one of our summit:
Business Update
CEO Carmen Carey opened our week-long summit with a business update. She was joined by Interim CTO Iain Grieg and Chief Architect Marty Cochrane.
Brady has had a strong start to the fiscal year – Carmen reported we are on track with our business plan year-to-date. We have also announced two new customer wins so far this year, with a third shortly to be released. These include BASF Catalysts and Falck Renewables an Italian renewable energy company with installed capacity across Europe. We will share details of our latest new logo win, a leading scrap metals trading firm shortly. Read more about our recent wins here
Introducing Brady Technologies
Following our acquisition by Hanover Investors, we are now a private business no longer holding the PLC designation. We are now registered as Brady Technologies Limited.
Brady Technology Leaders
We have successfully completed post acquisition stabilisation and are now shifting our focus more aggressively to product strategy, planning and execution. Customer satisfaction remains our top priority across the business. In line with our product strategy focus, we welcome Ed Addario as our new permanent CTO and Marty Cochrane, Chief Architect, to the team.
Ed has over 25 years’ experience, primarily in FinTech. He was most recently the CTO of Currencycloud and is an active senior member of the Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), involved in the definition of a number of international standards in the area of Software Engineering. Ed is also a long-time contributor to well-known Open Source projects in the areas of Cryptography, Peer-to-Peer networks and Linux Clustering.
Marty has an extensive knowledge of European energy markets, having previously worked as Head of Software Development at Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable energy producer and Brady customer. His most recent role was as Vice President – Solution Architecture at Arundo Analytics.
Product Roadmaps
Brady product managers held focussed road map sessions across our energy products. Customers were given information on latest functional releases this quarter. One to Three year roadmaps were unveiled followed by interactive Q & A sessions.
