Brady is pleased to announce that Bern based international energy and infrastructure company BKW Energie AG (BKW) has successfully gone-live with cloud-delivered pan European power scheduling operations.
BKW, one of the largest regional power utilities with ownership of largely hydroelectric and renewable energy generation assets is now delivering traded power across Switzerland, Germany, France the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and theUK in real-time via Brady’s cloud services.

Brady’s power scheduling solution helps BKW to meet regional TSO communication protocol and deadlines in a timely and compliant manner. BKW use functions to prepare and send schedules efficiently to meet gate closure times, avoiding penalties. BKW can react quickly to rectify problems in the power delivery process with automatic notification from TSOs using a wide range of status alerts. They have a consolidated view of volumes being scheduled in real-time across different markets for more informed decision-making.
