Salten Kraftsamband (SKS) selects Brady PowerDesk for short-term power trading
Brady Technologies, a leading software provider for the energy trading life cycle, announces SKS has selected its PowerDesk SaaS solution for short-term power trading.
Headquartered in Northern Norway, SKS is engaged in power production, trading and supply of electricity in Norway. The company has been a long-established customer of Brady for over 25 years. Currently Brady’s market leading physical power trading platform is utilised to manage end-to-end operations including scheduling power through the Norwegian TSO Statnett, meter data management, and compliance with the Norwegian energy market system Elhub.
The decision to integrate Brady’s SaaS short-term power trader’s dashboard was driven by Nordic power market changes, defined by the Nordic Balancing Model roadmap. The intraday power trading market in the region is transitioning to 15-minute trading intervals in 2024, followed by the day-ahead trading market in 2025.
