London, 2020, Brady, announces existing customer, WFSO, has selected its Energy Settlement Manager (ESM) solution to trade electricity more efficiently across Ireland.
WFSO, a leading Irish renewables generator, sought to implement further efficiencies to their trading process and manage with greater ease the complex requirements of the single electricity market operator (SEMO). Brady’s ESM solution has been specifically designed for the Irish electricity market. It enables market participants to independently reconcile charges and payments raised by SEMO based on the complex Trade and Settlement Code rules. The solution also helps to manage and analyse the large volume of data received from the operator several times a day. It eliminates highly time-consuming manual processes such as downloading daily statements and reports, verifying settlement values, updating trading P&L with settlement data, approving invoices and communicating their status with the operator.
Since the introduction of the Integrated Single Electricity Market (I-SEM) back in 2018, WFSO has deployed Brady solutions for electricity trading, scheduling and balancing. Brady’s solutions have been designed to help customers take advantage of more competitive trading arrangements in Ireland.
WFSO now have a consolidated view of their ex ante market, P&L and settlement data across all Brady systems. Brady’s Energy Reporting Services supports WFSO’s custom reporting needs.
